They actually microwaved my eggroll like another person said. I actually seen them grab a blue plate I heard the opening of the microwave door and closing of it … sesame chicken don’t taste right only thing that was the same was that it had seeds. I kno Chinese food can be sketchy but damn lol I’m now looking for a homeless guy to give my food to.

I'm a Happy Wok fan. After living in Queens for ten years, I believe I have something meaningful to say about take-out Chinese. My egg roll today was freshly rolled and fried, quite tasty and a bit longer than I expected. Lunch was reasonable, ample, healthy and well prepared. The wonderful surprise was to notice "Happy Cakes", also in this location. This little Chinese restaurant on Elm makes custom baked birthday and event cakes (up to seven levels high). They have three large binders on the front counter with impressively detailed price lists and mountains of color photos of their original hand-lettered decorations. This is far more innovative cake decorating than I might see at Sam's Club or Meijer. I saw cupcakes created to look just like cheeseburgers. Sold American. No frills, just well-prepared food at reasonable prices made by people who care about their work.

How disappointing! Easily the worst Happy Wok in Rockford. It's very dark and dingy, they MICROWAVED my veggie egg rolls - and the chicken fried rice was dry - but flavorful. (Could have been the soy sauce ). Its no wonder they are only 2 stars

DO NOT GO HERE! THEY SERVRE RAW FOOD. I ordered for my work and went in, the place is disgusting, unkept and smells funky.. I ordered for myself the general chicken.. after eating a few bites I noticed the chicken wasn’t even cooked all the way!!!!! I called them back and explained the situation and with an attitude they said I would have to drive all the way back to get a new order.. like I mentioned I’m at work I can’t leave.. never eating here again, they should be reported to the health department and shut down! Go to the one on N main if you can!

So Happy I didn't read the reviews until after I ordered! The food was great for the price point. Yes, the place is very messy and smells a little weird, but the food was delicious. Much better than catering at BMO Harris Center.
